Virtual AR Exhibitions: Responsible Gaming Education
The Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health (MACGH) focuses on reducing the impact of gambling disorder and advocates for responsible gambling. Reality Lab, LLC, working closely with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, MACGH, and GameSense, created and launched an Interactive AR Exhibition called What is the House Edge?
What is the House Edge? is used in all Massachusetts casinos by GameSense Advisors to demonstrate responsible gaming and much more.
Rather than drag a casino guest all over the casino to explain the different types of blackjack tables, roulette tables and slot machines, the AR Exhibition materializes those games (virtually) right in front of the casino guest! The GSAs use the in-depth AR Exhibition to explain difficult concepts such as the “House Edge”, table odds, and slot machine variances.
The AR Exhibition toolset include, among others, Responsible Gaming Tips and Information, Live Resource Links, and Helpful Terms and Definitions.
